This game was created based on what the community requested and asked for. What you see in the game is what the community decided on. This was a player and community driven and developed game.

• Contracts System (Extra side quests with varying size and complexity to help with progression)

• More world modifiers (Extra unique settings and variables to make each run even more unique)

• Strain System (FEEL the augments - your character can suffer from strains periodically if they augment too fast and their body can't tolerate it - this adds an element of horror from body modification)

• Addiction System (You can get addicted to various drugs and chemicals in the game and it will impact your character's capabilities)

• More Drone Companion Types (There are now 5 drone types that can be recruited and upgraded instead of just 3)

• Repeatable Quests (Extra repeatable quests to help with grinding extra money and experience)

About the Game

Background:

"Half a century into the future, mankind's world is riven and in a state of great social, political, and economic strain. After the end of the horrific pandemic that haunted the early twenties, pharma corps became stronger than ever seen before. Medical research thrived and permitted a multitude of technical advancements, but healthcare prices skyrocketed, causing mass inflation and shifting the entire world's economy. As a result, cryptocurrencies grew in prevalence and eventually gained enough momentum to replace other monetary systems across the globe, but many were left destitute and with nothing. Greed, hatred, envy, and panic then fueled the fires of war day after day, leaving the world scarred and broken. The U.N. has fallen and the war on terror has failed. Civilization is slowly collapsing in on itself. Now, most people cannot afford their necessities. Society is fragmented and has all but dissolved back into a caste division. Crime is at an all-time high and poverty is the new norm. Each day that passes, exploitation of the Earth's resources continues, and pollution intensifies, making life even more unbearable. Humanity is in the darkest place of its entire existence... A dark place where you exist."

Synopsis:

Buried in debt to a notorious loan shark, you're forced to plunge into the shadows of a dark underworld filled with danger and betrayal around every corner. You'll need to decide who you should trust, who to spite, and how to stay alive. It's up to you, which direction you take and how your story unfolds.

The world beyond the sprawls - The Rivens - is cold, dark, and dangerous. Polluted air, acidic rain, radiated overgrowth, toxic water, mutated beasts, and ever-present hopelessness dominate the wastelands. Few can survive beyond the walls of the sprawls.
