Gandamak 1842 is a simulation of the 'First Anglo-Afghan War', a failed attempt by the British Empire to vassalize Afghanistan. The British must capture Kabul, setup their puppet ruler there and maintain themselves in the country. The Afghan must repulse the invaders, isolating their garrisons and pushing the tribes to revolt. The rough terrain, weather and hard supply will play a crucial role.
