It’s a regular day at university when your ex-boyfriend, whom you haven't heard from in two years, suddenly pops back up in your messages. You chat like old friends about mundane everyday things, occasionally hopping on video calls. He seems nostalgic about the time you spent together, his words dripping with lingering attachment.
