Cheepr

Frequently asked questions

Cheepr is a price comparison service. These answers explain what the site can show and where you should verify the final purchase details.

Where do Cheepr prices come from?

Cheepr compares accepted price observations from tracked stores. The page shows the region and currency used for the current view, plus when the observation was checked when that evidence is available.

Is a discount an all-time low?

Only when Cheepr has enough accepted price history to label it as a historical low. A discount percentage alone does not prove that a price is the lowest recorded.

Can a store price change after I click?

Yes. Store prices can change between observations and checkout. Confirm the final price, region, currency, and edition on the store page before buying.

Does Cheepr require an account?

No account is required to browse prices. Region, theme, and sensitive-media preferences are stored locally in your browser.

How does Cheepr handle mature content?

Known mature media is blurred by default. Media without a clear maturity signal is treated as unknown and is also blurred. You can reveal an item or choose a device-only preference to show sensitive media.
