Keyshop risk: a buyer checklist
A low price is only useful when the key, seller, region, and checkout terms work for you. Use this checklist for any store Cheepr links to, especially when the store is not the publisher or platform owner.
Before buying
- Check the store name, seller identity, and whether the offer is an official store or a third-party marketplace.
- Confirm the activation platform, edition, region, language, and whether the item is a key, account, gift, or direct activation.
- Read refund, replacement, and support terms before entering payment details.
- Compare the final checkout currency and total with the price shown on Cheepr. Store pages can change after the last accepted observation.
What Cheepr can and cannot prove
Cheepr reports accepted price observations and store metadata available to the service. A price comparison does not certify a seller, guarantee stock, or guarantee that a key will activate in your region.
When an offer has limited evidence, treat that uncertainty as a reason to inspect the store page carefully. Never rely on a discount percentage as proof of authenticity or value.
