Escape From Violet Institute

Escape From V.I. is a 2D sidescrolling 1st Person Survival Horror game.

STORY:

After an abrupt catastrophe rocks your workplace, you must attempt to flee to the surface as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, a peculiar artifact transports the player to a new dimension halting their escape.

What was once a simple passage to freedom, quickly becomes a dimension-hopping game of survival.

Encountering a plethora of horrifying monsters across multiple worlds, the player will discover, and face the truth about their own past.

GAMEPLAY:

The player only has 1 life with no checkpoints or autosaves (A save is made upon quitting to the main menu)

There are branching paths within the game, meaning the choices the player makes, affect the ending they get.

Whenever the player switches from 2D to 3D their position in the world is saved so they can navigate the world in unique ways.
