Flawless

Flawless (完美无瑕) is a third-person adventure game that takes place deep within a young boy’s dreams. Explore the surreal landscape and solve puzzles to discover the origins of the boy’s fears in this psychological narrative experience. Can you escape the nightmare?

In addition to controlling the boy's movement through W A S D and using the left mouse button to communicate with the protagonist's parents to advance the plot development, players also need to use W A S D E to decrypt the variant gameplay of Tetris.

This game has one teaching level, three puzzle-solving levels, and one plot level, which correspond to encountering, getting along, resisting, and reconciling between the boy and his parents. I hope that players can learn why a lot of children in the process of growing up want to ask their parents the phrase, "Do I need to be perfect to be worthy of your love" while playing the game.

Flawless was made almost entirely by Thomas Wang, who hopes the narrative can help give players a glimpse into the mind of a child growing up under immense parental pressure. Special thanks go to Thomas’s parents for their support of the development and everyone else who contributed to the game.
