About this game
What this game is, in the developer's words
What if ninjas fought in a trampoline park, but with paint?
What if ninjas fought in a trampoline park, but with paint? Ninjas on Trampolines is a two-to-four player platform fighter where players are ninjas that splatter their opponents on the battlefield. Use trampolines to fight for aerial superiority. Having the most paint on the battlefield will make you victorious, but be careful because your opponents can paint over what you have already. The person with the most paint at the end of a match is declared the winner.
Trampolines:
Trampolines are an essential aspect of this game, hence the name. Using them allows you to get higher on maps and outmaneuver your opponents. They are completely physics-based; the higher your velocity, the higher you bounce off them.
Standstill Jump:
While standing on a trampoline with no vertical velocity, you can press and hold the jump button to bounce off it.
Using Momentum:
If you are airborne, you can fall onto a trampoline to keep your momentum. Fast falling onto a trampoline will increase your bounce height.
Painting:
The goal of the game is to have the most amount of your paint on the background by the end of a match. This can be achieved by attacking opponents, using items, interacting with game mode objects, and spraying tags onto the background.
Attacking:
Attacking opponents will splatter paint of your color on the stage. The more velocity you have, the more paint will be splattered. Players of higher velocity will have priority when attacking at the same time.
Standstill Attack:
High Velocity Attack:
Tags:
Using tags is a passive way to add your color to the background.
Gamemodes:
All game modes have a different way of painting the background.
Free for All:
A standard free for all game mode. No special game mode items will spawn.
Spray King:
Hold onto the spray crown to splatter a streak of color into the background as you move. The player with the crown loses it when they are splattered by another ninja.
Paintball:
Attack the paintball to change it to your color. As the ball bounces around the map, it leaves a trail of color.
Items:
Items are a part of every game mode and are an additional way to add or erase paint.
Paintbomb:
When the paintbomb makes contact with a wall or another player, it will explode into the color of the player who threw it. Hitting another ninja will splatter them.
Shuriken:
When the shuriken makes contact with a wall, it will slowly spray paint onto the wall around it.
Mop:
The mop erases ALL paint in the area around it.
