What this game is, in the developer's words
You are S-9. You may or may not have some consciousness. You keep a family alive, but you are unable to do it eternally. The simulation will still require supervision. Decide. How could humanity get itself into such a bizarre situation?
Simulation Requires Supervision (SRS) is a thought experiment on the decadence of human values. What could happen if we collectively overlook a few aspects of development? What if we sacrifice ourselves to evolve?
The Game
SRS is a roughly 30 minutes long experience, where you have to manage your time remaining to explore the world of the game as much as you can, and reflect on it to make your final decision.
