theHunter: Call of the Wild™ - Backpacks

When preparing for a hunting trip, you have to anticipate the hours or days ahead. What prey will you hunt? Where will you go? How long will you be out?
Often, you’ll want to travel light to decrease weight and stay agile in rough terrain. But other times, you just want to take as much gear as possible and go for longer stretches. To accommodate those epic hunting trips, the reserve wardens have added three new backpacks to the store.

INCREASED INVENTORY CAPACITY

The main advantage of getting a backpack is that it increases your inventory space when you are travelling. The increased space gives you the opportunity to take more weapons, ground blinds and/or any items from your storage along on your hunt. But be careful - the backpack you use has a direct impact on your hunt. The larger the backpack you carry, the more visible you are to animals and the more noise you make when traveling by foot.

TRAILSCOUT MINI DAYPACK

This lightweight hunting backpack gives you plenty of room for additional hunting equipment and is available in three different colors: Glacier, Evergreen and Blazing.
When downloading the DLC, the Glacier shade is unlocked for purchase in the store for in-game currency. The other two may be unlocked depending on your character levels.

EXOADVENTURER LIGHT DAYPACK

This medium-sized hunting backpack gives you a large capacity boost for more equipment and ammunition. This backpack is available in three different colors: Glacier, Evergreen and Blazing. When downloading the DLC, the Glacier shade is unlocked for purchase in the store for in-game currency. The other two may be unlocked depending on your character levels.

SUMMIT EXPLORER PACK

Need maximum space for your expeditions? You can't beat this large hunting backpack with plenty of room for all your equipment and ammunition. Why leave hunting gear behind when you can fit it all on your back? This backpack is available in three different colors: Glacier, Evergreen and Blazing. When downloading the DLC, the Glacier shade is unlocked for purchase in the store for in-game currency. The other two may be unlocked depending on your character levels.

BUYING AND EQUIPPING YOUR BACKPACK

All unlocked backpacks can be purchased in the store with in-game currency. Once you have purchased a backpack, you can equip it by going to the character menu. From there, select the backpack's size, then select the backpack's color, and click accept.

VIEWING YOUR BACKPACK AND SWITCHING TO A SMALLER BACKPACK

You can always check which backpack you have on by going into the character customization screen. When switching to a smaller backpack at a storage area, if the combined weight of the items you had in the larger backpack exceeded the capacity of the smaller backpack, all items you were carrying are put back into storage.
