Explore the eastern reaches of Midlands territory with Just Trains’ latest addition to their Midland Main Line network, which spans 34 miles from Nottingham to Lincoln!
Known as the Castle Line, the Nottingham-Lincoln line dates back to 1846, and connects the various towns and villages between the two hubs, with services operate locally along the line, and occasional long-distance trains run to and from London via Newark North Gate.
The line features what is perhaps the most unique feature of the UK railway network, the Newark flat crossing, which sees the Nottingham-Lincoln route cross directly over the East Coast Main Line itself, rather than using a flyover.
In Train Simulator, Just Trains’ Nottingham - Lincoln route is authentic in every detail. Each of the stations are replicated with exact accuracy, as are the many lineside landmarks and features throughout, including level crossings, castles, signal boxes and local businesses.
