Equip each fighter before landing on the mission, find equipment at locations or take it away from enemies. You can change any item of equipment right during the battle, you do not need to wait for a special moment or return to base.

The death of a fighter means the loss of equipment, some of which can be picked up by the rest of the squad if they have a place for it.

Take out as many resources as possible from missions to improve the space station, this will make it possible to store more items on the base, create the necessary items from other items and open new locations.
