What this game is, in the developer's words
Infiniwar is a stylized modern military real-time tactics game inspired by classics in the genre. Command your units in epic battles, call in artillery and air strikes. Upgrade your forces with ARPG-inspired progression systems. Conquer a roguelike campaign that is unique on each playthrough.
Infiniwar is a passion project under active development by a part-time solo developer. I am working on a demo and hope to start playtesting with supporters later this year. Check out the ongoing YouTube devlog and follow me on X/Twitter if you want to know more (links in the sidebar on the right)!
In Infiniwar you select and deploy a handful of units to take part in a larger battle. No tank factories here, reinforcements arrive in style by airdrop. Additional reinforcements can be called in throughout the battle or to replace lost troops.
Battle against a fierce enemy to capture, fortify, and defend map objectives. Controlling objectives determine the outcome of the battle for a variety of game modes such as Domination, Rush/Assault, and more.
Combat performance earns you the ability to call in devastating strikes from off map artillery, close air support, and more. Unleash hell!
Infiniwar will have:

Infiniwar will NOT have:
- Traditional RTS-style: Base building, fixed tech trees, workers gathering resources, or static top-down camera angle
- A traditional story campaign (e.g. cutscenes, scripted characters and missions, etc)
- A Traditional 4x-style strategy layer with a detailed map and complex logistics management
- PvP or co-op multiplayer (maybe for Infiniwar 2 😉), though there are friendly AI players for large battles
