PatchWorld is a multiplayer audiovisual playground for building interactive worlds, instruments, reactive visuals, playful systems, and live experiences _ no coding needed.

Easy to start, deep enough to grow. Beginners can explore, play, and remix right away, while advanced builders can create complex worlds, audiovisual systems, interactive devices, and ambitious performances, especially with the power of PCVR and desktop.

You don’t need to be a musician to start. Build a world, generate or import your assets, design a strange machine, create a game, or make something reactive, then discover how sound, rhythm, and music can become part of what you create.

Go further with MIDI, OSC, Ableton Link, spatial audio tools, recording workflows, external controllers, DAWs, and desktop / PCVR setups. From jamming in VR to performing on stage, PatchWorld can become part of your live creative setup.

PatchWorld is powered by our bespoke audio engine, developed over many years for high-quality real-time and spatial audio. It supports responsive instruments, synthesis, sampling, effects, procedural sound systems, spatial mixing, and immersive performance tools designed for serious sound.

Bring your own assets — or generate them in-world

Import your own sounds, images, videos, and 3D objects through the PatchWorld web portal, or generate new assets directly inside PatchWorld with AI-powered tools.

Now on Steam Early Access for PCVR and desktop

The Steam version brings PatchWorld to a more powerful PC-based setup, with support for both PCVR and desktop. PCVR is the main immersive creation experience for patching, building, performing, and interacting with each other naturally in 3D space.

Desktop is currently in beta but is already very useful for exploring worlds, filming, streaming and joining multiplayer sessions!
