RASKOPNIK: The Trench Warrior

RASKOPNIK: The Trench Warrior it's not just grid-based roguelike game in World War II setting. This is the shrill story about valiant adventure of brave soviet sergeant against Nazi's horde. The story about the Trench Warrior who is destined to squash the Reich and save the Motherland on his own.

These are the only four basic rules of The Trench Warrior.
But you can add your own rule and write a guide about in game community of course.

What is hiding inside The Trench Warrior?

- Ultraviolence! Smash Nazis into pieces in the most sophisticated ways!
- Alternative history and insane plot twists. Make your way from the depth of Southern Frontline to the Reich walls through trenches, forests, bunkers and secret labs!
- Nonlinearity. One task – several ways to complete it. Look for opportunities and play your own style!
- Hardcore. Meet the traps and thinking dozen steps ahead. Analyze the environment, soberly assess your own and the enemy's power, and plan your attack carefully. Do you remember the times when levels was redrawn on piece of papers and an ordinary gamer can complete only third of games without walkthrough guides?
- The soundtrack combines noise rock, modern metal, EDM and classical music. Gloominess of the sound against the comic background can plunge you into dissonance. At first It makes you move by the groovy rhythm, but then the mood changes to melancholic - the music makes it clear: “real war is going here”.
- Graphics. We designed our own "raw" style which complements perfectly with the ambience, and the use of post-processing effects further enhances the immersion effect.

• The dev's didn't create easiest path on the level? Grab the shovel and dig your own way!
  
• Faced with the unknown? Just take a risk! As a reward, you will receive an unforgettable story that will be passed down from generation to generation!
  
• Caught by the enemy? Well, you can always turn to tactical retreat - just die. Remember the truth: death is not defeat. Next time, you'll caught the enemy by surprise!
  
• Met “something curious little red” on your way? Every Trench Warrior knows: you need to try everything in this world. Loot is either valuable experience or a harbinger of victory. You'll never know if you never try.
  
• The enemy too far away to get the coveted slap in the face with a shovel? Switch to gun and shoot him down! But be aware the enemy also can shoot you!
  
• Tired of trenches? Try find a way out to above ground or make your way to the Nazi bunker! Multi-tiered levels are awesome!
  
• Feeling lonely? Find your mates, they'll have something to talk about. Or disguise to Nazi - enemies are talkative too, although they speak a language unfamiliar to the Raskopnik...
  
• Some areas will be quite open. And sometimes this openness puts the soldier's life in danger. Grab the woods and build yourself a shelter! Raskopnik not only the digger but also a slightly carpenter.
  
• Search for spoils thrown on the battlefield. Collect and trade them for useful stuff from mates!
