Simple Duel is a rock-paper-scissors style fighting game with players making moves simultaneously. Select a weapon that determines your health, energy, move set, and combo. There are three different match types to choose from next: default, rounds, or lives.
With such a small amount of players Quick Play might not be able to match you against players always.
Try the Practice mode to play against a variety of Bots!
Simple Duel
Simple Duel is a rock-paper-scissors style fighting game with players making moves simultaneously. Before the match select a weapon that determines your health, energy, move set, and combo. Each weapon is unique and allows for varying playstyles. There are three different match types to choose from next: default, rounds, or lives.There are 8 unique weapons players can choose from and 19 different moves for a variety of move sets.

Gameplay
You have 30 seconds per turn. Both you and your opponent select your moves simultaneously. The moves are setup in a rock-paper-scissors fashion. Offensive moves counter neutral moves, neutral moves counter defensive moves, and defensive moves counter offensive moves. If you do not pick a move within the 30 seconds you will automatically Wait! Your health and energy are determined by your chosen weapon. Moves have an associated energy cost and you can only use moves that you have the energy for. If your health reaches 0 you lose, even if you kill your opponent on the same turn. Some moves can stun you. This is indicated by the orange icon below your health bar. When you are stunned you will not be able to select a move that turn. Each weapon has a unique combo that can be read in the weapon's tooltip. Using the three moves of the combo in order will deal an additional 2 damage to your opponent. The gold orbs below your health bar keep track of your combo progress.Tempo
Gain tempo for successful turns! As you gain tempo your fighter will start to glow.- With at least 2 tempo, players gain 1 energy per turn
- With at least 3 tempo, players gain 2 energy per turn
- With at least 5 tempo, players gain 3 energy per turn
- Any unsuccessful turns will reset your tempo to 0
- If you have 5 or more tempo and it gets reset, your opponent will heal 1 health, gain 3 energy, and get an extra tempo
- Waiting with at least 1 tempo allows you to consume it, healing 1 health for each tempo consumed.
