SOMNUS

SOMNUS is a first-person shooter (FPS) featuring "Perfect Dodge" as its core mechanic.

Players step into the shoes of "Jung," an unlicensed doctor who infiltrates dreams. Utilizing the forbidden technology "DIVE" to enter patients' subconscious minds, players will gradually uncover the truth behind the dreams through investigation and combat.

During the investigation phase, players must observe the environment, read documents, and piece together fragmented clues.

In the combat phase, players must execute a "Perfect Dodge" at the precise moment to trigger bullet time and restore "Nightmare Fuel." This allows them to defeat bosses symbolizing psychological trauma within confined spaces, further exploring the dark world of the subconscious.

This project originated as our student graduation design. Restricted by the limited development and maintenance capacity of a student team, the game may still have some rough edges, yet it embodies our full passion for the core gameplay.
