What this game is, in the developer's words
Journey into history and face down a mighty empire. Sonsgorod blends the grid-based tactics of Into the Breach with the sigil-stamped deckbuilding of Inscryption in a roguelike where position is key, enemies can be turned against each other, and your skill matters as much as the cards in your hand.
In Sonsgorod, the game board is circular, and what you can do depends on where you are. Attacking often isn't the best play, but by swapping and moving cards, you can set up maneuvers, turn enemies against one another and emerge victorious.
As you progress through the game, you'll find new character and action cards, each with different properties in combat. These cards can be upgraded with an Inscryption-inspired sigils system, giving you lots of options to experiment with.
Take on the role of the Blind Seeress as she charts the path to victory over two distinct roguelike campaigns.
Prove your worth in all possible futures, as you test yourself with difficult extra challenges that completely change the game.
