Fast-Paced Hybrid Combat

Choose your own playstyle. Run, kick, conjure, sneak, and defeat enemies using various creative methods. Nightscarred's fast-paced combat system allows you to use magical abilities and melee weapons independently, giving you full control over each during gameplay. Additionally, the movement capabilities are not restrictive, allowing you to perform all offensive abilities while dodging, jumping, crouch sliding or running.

Spellcrafting

Craft your own spells using the runes you gather during gameplay. Combine them as you wish with Nightscarred's hybrid combat system to defeat your foes. Each unique combination of runes will result in a different spell. Modify the imbuement type, casting method, and additional stats of your spell. Create the spell best fitting to your playstyle.

Unique & Dynamic World

Immerse yourself in a unique and unheard-of lore based on the ancient shamanic world of Turkic mythology. Navigate through a dynamic environment during the story and solve physics-based puzzles. Use your telekinesis ability to move physical objects (or sometimes even enemies) around and utilize them to your advantage.

While the game can still be played solo, the story is also tailored for 2-player co-op playthroughs. Invite your friends to join your session and experience the story and gameplay in the most enjoyable way.

STORY

The Nightscarred: Forgotten Gods features a linear story with unforgettable characters, foes, and environments.

The mortal world is in peril. Scarce resources, isolated heroes, and indifferent gods plunge the mortal world into chaos. Our father, Erlik, seeks to invade the mortal world by taking advantage of this situation. A great shaman warns us that this action will disrupt the balance between both worlds, leading to our end.

Expelled from the Underworld by our father and stripped of dark powers after trying to stop him, our mission is to uncover the prophecy's secrets and prevent our father's invasion, safeguarding both realms to keep the balance between sky, mortal realm, and the land of the death.
