This pack contains 3 types of British Railways (BR) brake tenders, 2 prototypes and 1 main production variant, which includes 3 different types of bogies, with 3 different period liveries in clean and weathered versions.
The Wagons Include animated handbrakes, 6 liveries per wagon, (]3 period liveries. each with clean and weathered versions).
The wagons also have changeable headcodes at either end.
The Diesel Brake Tenders were ordered by BR; the wagons weighed in at 35 tons and were built on existing bogies left over from older pre nationalisation coaching stock. These wagons were used on Non-fitted and Partially Fitted stock where the weaker braking force of BR's new diesels in comparison with Steam engines required the use of the Diesel Brake Tenders for additional braking force. The Prototypes were built in 1961 and 1962 then the main production tenders were built from 1964 to 1965 with the tenders lasting till the 1980's where they were all scrapped.
Wagons Included: BR Diesel Brake Tender Prototype 1, BR Diesel Brake Tender Prototype 2, BR Diesel Brake Tender Gresley Bogie, BR Diesel Brake Tender BR1 Bogie, and BR Diesel Brake Tender Stanier Bogie.
