In the otherworldly kingdom of Tristia, the death of the king has sparked a civil war over the throne. The young Princess Fia is forced to flee the castle and, in a moment of desperation, uses an ancient summoning spell to call forth a legendary hero from another world.

This hero turns out to be a modern-day youth who is obsessed with maid culture. Upon learning that the princess is being hunted by an evil armed maid corps, he decides to accept her plea, becoming the hero she needs and setting off on a journey to find the fragments of the "Proof of Succession."

Throughout this journey, he will face powerful armed maids, magical creatures, and mysterious allies, ultimately uncovering the truth behind the kingdom's civil war and becoming the true hero who will lead Tristia to a new era.
