What do you imagine when you hear the words “heavy tank”? Probably a rather slow, cumbersome vehicle with mediocre aim, but high damage per shot. If that’s exactly what you thought, then you will be surprised to meet the Object 244—a Tier VI Soviet heavy tank that may change your perspective on heavies. Coming with the Ruthless Champion DLC, this vehicle has decent speed for a heavy tank, great dispersion values for landing accurate shots, as well as mighty armor for bouncing enemy shells!

Firepower. Although the Object 244’s gun may hit a bit less hard than those of other same-tier heavies, it definitely stands out when it comes to precision and rate of fire. The reload time of about 5.5 seconds allows you to keep your opponents under pressure, while the dispersion value of 0.35 m at 100 m makes sure that your shots will reach the target. In total, we get an unusually accurate heavy tank with a good DPM of 1,894 HP/min.

Speed. The Object 244 is among the top 5 fastest heavy tanks of its tier, with a top speed of 42 km/h and a reverse speed of 14 km/h. In addition, the tank’s traverse speed is quite substantial, too. Of course, that does not mean that you should try to outmaneuver enemy light and medium tanks, but those mobility values will let you be quicker to react to your opponents’ moves and overall be more flexible on the battlefield.

Protection. The Object 244 has respectable armor that is not easy to penetrate. The hull frontal plate is 120 mm thick, while the side armor value of 100 mm is the best among heavies of its tier. Use the good mobility of the vehicle to adapt to the current situation in battle, either by angling your armor or hiding your weak spots, and watch as enemy shells bounce off without dealing any damage.
