The game features several artstyles, so you can chose which one you prefer. The pets include dogs, cats, a wolf, a panda, rabbits, a hedgehog, and more. It's a real zoo in here.
The pals are interactive! Each pal has a unique reaction to you petting him, and they have natural behaviour patterns, such as falling asleep or going for a walk around your screen.
Desktop Pals also works over most modern games, so you can play with your pal during those pesky down-times, like when you are waiting for your friend to join your lobby.
The game also features advanced customization. You can choose the pals location on your screen, his scale, his capabilities, and more! You can change the game to your liking.
