Eclipse 2: Invasion of Darkness – is an isometric, story-driven game in the Action RPG genre, combining the mechanics of metroidvania exploration and the dynamics of modern slashers.

The game's plot tells the story of a medieval man who finds himself at the center of an extraterrestrial invasion. The main hero, his family, and local residents are abducted by aliens. Thanks to incredible luck, combat skills, and the intervention of a mysterious voice, our main hero manages to escape from the spaceship back to Earth, taking some alien technologies with him. Later, upon learning that his family is on another ship and a full-scale invasion is unfolding on Earth, the hero begins to act.

- The combat system: The core elements of gameplay are the player's active skills and the effective use of their acquired unique abilities, rather than just the stats of items, weapons, or armor. Find a unique approach to exterminate each type of enemy or utilize the features of locations and surrounding objects to defeat the enemy!

- The semi open world provides the player with an extensive area for exploration and interaction. All locations are interconnected and become available as the story progresses or new skills are acquired.

- The game world is a completely fictional universe, not based on any historical facts. The local residents have their own culture, art, and way of life. The Middle Ages is a conditional designation of the current stage of human development in the world of Eclipse. Sometimes, the player may encounter technologies and items not typical of the Middle Ages, but later, the plot will provide an explanation for their appearance.
