Edge of the Wild

Edge of the Wild is a single-player, third-person, survival-adventure game set on a breathtaking but dangerous Alaskan island, inspired by games like the original Tomb Raider  series and Ark: Survival Evolved.

Step into the rugged boots of Sara Avalon as an intrepid nature photographer. Dropped off on a frigid, remote island, your mission is to capture the beauty of it's wildlife through your lens, but also survive against dynamically changing weather, dangerous animals, and perilous terrain.

While there, she discovers a relic of an ancient civilization that attempted to flee disaster before a great disaster. It pulls her into an epic adventure of survival where she has to struggle to stay alive and find a way back home.

Gameplay:

• Survive: Health, food, water, and stamina must be managed carefully to avoid disaster.

• Explore: Discover unique ruins and landmarks that unfold a compelling story and take you to unexpected places.

• Fight: Experience third-person combat as you defend against natural enemies (bears, wolves, etc.) and other adversaries using a range of firearms (pistol, machine gun, sniper rifle).

• Build: Build a home base from which you can strike out into the wilderness or shelter from the environment.

• Photograph: An advanced photo mode will allow you to take captivating photographs of the surrounding wildlife and terrain as well as document your journey. Focus, F-Stop, lighting, color balance, custom framing, and more can be adjusted to perfectly capture your experience.

• Narrative Depth: Experience an adventure that begins in the ordinary, though dangerous, Alaskan wilderness, but rapidly turns sci-fi as Sara’s discoveries, journal entries, and interactions with the environment unfold a compelling story.
