Unique hybrid turn based combat system

Traditional turn based combat, with a fighting-game-like twist. With 4 action points per turn, you can choose to spend them on actions such as attacking, or save them for a counterattack. Then, during your opponent's turn, you can parry an attack, and shift the initiative of the battle. Holding initiative allows you to take action and use any unspent action points while the opponent is exposed, and takes double damage. But beware, the same can be done to you.

Face the Gauntlet

Trapped as a prisoner within a foreign land, and sold as a slave to be a lowly combatant within the colosseum that is home to their barbaric blood sport. Now you must fight to earn your freedom or entertain the crowd with your brutal end.

Advance through 5 tiers of fights against procedurally generated opponents, each with their own champions looking to bring your struggle for freedom to a bloody end.

Choose your path

Choose one of 5 unique classes each with their own skills and play style.

Duelist - Keep your opponent dancing in the palm of your hand with manipulative skills that alter the behaviors and actions of your opponents, luring them into critical blunders for you to capitalize on, with decisive and devastating blows meant just for when they slip up.

Blade Master - Toss reasoning to the wayside and embrace savagery as you throw yourself ruthlessly at your opponent with bloodthirsty malice, and then dodge their counterattacks by a hair's width with your cat-like reflexes and survival instincts.

Skirmisher - Never let your opponent get into a comfortable position, keep them rotating and moving around the battlefield at all times with moves that shift both parties' positions. Keep yourself just out of arm's reach and then push them into the perfect spot to deal massive damage.

Warden - Attack with overwhelming strength of a warrior, and the precision of a surgeon. Bide your time, letting the opponent play right into the palm of your hand, then at the perfect moment, dish out a singular, devastating conditional attack, bolstered by your careful preparation.

Sentinel - Never let your opponent get too close, and keep them at arm's length with reactionary attacks that punish unwise action. Line the battlefield with vicious opportunity, highlighting positions within reach of your spear, and leave your opponent with nowhere to run.
