Hide and Shoot

Thank you so much for taking an interest in our little father-and-son hobby project.

This game began as an idea from my 8-year-old son, and I thought it would be a wonderful way to help bring his imagination to life while teaching him a little about game development along the way. It has been a fun, creative journey for both of us, full of learning, laughter, and plenty of “what if we added this?” moments.

This is still a pre-release version, so the game is very much a work in progress. We’ll keep improving it, adding new ideas, and letting it grow over time. Feel free to join our Discord server and share your personal thoughts and ideas.

Hide and Shoot is a fun, silly and chaotic multiplayer hide-and-seek party game where up to 10 players go head-to-head as shapeshifting prey and bow-wielding hunters across colorful nature biomes. With quick, replayable rounds and plenty of clip-worthy moments, it’s perfect for game-night rotations with friends, streamer lobbies, and casual stream sessions.

Hunters vs. Prey

Each round, one or two players become Hunters armed with bows. Everyone else becomes Prey, and survival means blending in, staying calm, and escaping before it is too late.

Prey can shapeshift into cows, deer, sheep, and shrubbery to hide among the world around them. But be careful: shapeshifting drains energy, and hunters are always watching for anything that looks suspicious.

Outsmart, Outrun, Escape

Stay hidden long enough and an escape portal will spawn. Reach it to win. Get caught by the hunter, and you are out.

As Prey, you have plenty of tricks to survive:

• Shapeshift into animals and bushes to hide in plain sight

• Slide into cover to escape faster or trick the hunter

• Dodge out of arrow fire with a quick double-tap

• Use movement, timing, and fake-outs to make the hunter miss

• Nervous Stomach — the closer the hunter gets, the more your stomach churns. Hold it in, or let it rip for a fart-powered launch into the sky

Hunt with Precision

Hunters move faster, track suspicious movement, and can activate a speed boost to chase down fleeing prey. They can also plant proximity devices that detect nearby prey and slow them down, making escape much harder.

Line up your shots carefully. Arrows have real physics, with travel time and arc, so every hit takes skill.
