Nine Prophets: The Abyss, is a brutal, story-driven, horror RPG with roguelike elements. Featuring difficult, dismemberment turn based combat and strategic resource management. Craft Items, scavenge resources and fight alongside allies as you combat countless horrors and survive the unknowable.
Begin The Cycle
You awaken within The Abyss, a world of unexpected and eldritch proportions, The campfires are your only Sanctuary amongst the horrors that exist here. The rules of the cycle remain a mystery, But you've been granted 3 chances. Through combat, Scattered remnants left from previous cycles and your own gained knowledge, you might just learn why The Abyss called to you.
Recruit The Prophets
The ones known as Prophets are both your most valuable resource and your only source of companionship within The Abyss. The Nine Prophets will teach, gather resources, trade useful items and fight beside you.
But be warned:
Their deaths are permanent.
When a prophet dies, Their sword is lost, along with their skills and knowledge.
Prepare yourself
Not only mentally, But by Scavenging resources, Crafting Weapons, Armor, Potions, and other useful items. You will grow stronger and try to stand a chance against the brutal monstrosities when you.......
Face The Gauntlets
The mist dissipates before you. A twisted trial tests your mind, body, and soul.
Is this a sick form of entertainment? Or something more?
Survive the gauntlets and The Nine Prophets may yet escape.
Fail, and the cycle continues.
