About This Game
This project was originally created for GGX NEXUS JAM, part of the GameGroveX (GGX) event hosted by Wakayama Prefecture. We are honored to announce that it received the Grand Prize at the subsequent GGX Games Showcase. Following the initial three-month "Jam" period, we dedicated an additional three months to further refine and polish the experience.
The Theme: "Sacred Ground"
The theme of this work is "Sacred Ground" (Seichi).
For us, a "sacred ground" isn't just a physical location—it is the sanctuary of our memories. Our game is built around those nostalgic moments from childhood, like the simple, focused joy of balancing carefully along the white lines of the road on the way home from school. We have crafted this experience to capture that universal feeling of transforming an ordinary path into a world of its own.
Controls & Rules
Unique Dual-Control System
In this game, the character’s left and right feet are mapped to the left and right halves of your screen.
PC: Use drag-and-drop to move each foot.
Mobile/Tablet: Use swipe gestures to step forward.
Your goal is simple: stay on the white line and make it all the way home. But be careful—if your foot slips off the line, you’ll lose your balance and tumble!
From Mundane to Magical
As the young boy walks, his imagination begins to wander. Triggered by his daydreams, the ordinary neighborhood transforms instantly into a vibrant world of fantasy and adventure. Each "imagination world" introduces its own unique obstacles and environmental gimmicks. Can you navigate these whimsical landscapes and keep the dream alive until you reach your front door?
