白泽——世上第一只与人类签订契约的妖怪，历代白泽作为人类皇朝的瑞兽被人传颂。而事实上白泽真正的工作只有一样，那便是记录世间妖闻。没人知道他们的册中记了多少种妖怪，多少奇闻异志。洪武年间，神兽白泽与夷人少女，在旅途中所遇妖、精、鬼、怪，以及人们与之发生的故事，将谱成妖闻录的新篇。

《妖闻录》是一款明朝背景下的“志怪”+“旅行”题材的文字冒险游戏。神兽白泽和少女白鹭走遍中原版图的大江南北，处理一起又一起由妖怪引起的奇异事件。人的欲望，妖的本能，他们之间的矛盾与羁绊，是妖闻录里故事永恒的主题。

玩家通过不断深入剧情，根据提示和自己的价值趋向，选择不同的行为，从而进入或好或坏，或轻松或危险的故事。

游戏中，玩家需要谨慎选择行为，以确保自己的元炁不耗尽。同时尽可能经历每一章的多条线路，来还原故事的全貌。
