What this game is, in the developer's words
Herbs locate, tonics make, So gas deflates, and aches abate. Brew up some mischief in a witchy life sim with a small but troublesome difference. To keep the people of The Nook happy and healthy, Mistress Toil needs to train a young, easily-distracted pig to find magical ingredients.
Freshly graduated from Witching school, Mistress Toil finds herself sent to a sleepy town with a simple mission - brew potions to keep the residents of The Nook happy and healthy.
But it turns out that magical, hidden ingredients are called “hidden” for a reason, and the only way Mistress Toil can find them is by working with a mischievous piglet named “Trubble”.
Trubble’s piggy sense of smell is invaluable for sniffing out potion ingredients - when he’s not chomping on the neighbour’s veggie patch… or splashing in muddy puddles… or chasing butterflies.
You must learn to train Trubble to be a productive partner while balancing his wants and needs with your own.
Master the art of brewing potions while keeping side effects under control. Will your foot fungus tonic cause Rapid Onset Swollness and an Inexplicable Fear of Cats? Or will it instead imbue your customer with Serenity and Glowing Skin?
Mistress Toil must learn the difference between what a customer asks for, and what they really need. The Nook is full of secrets and relationships waiting to be untangled. Together, Toil and Trubble must uncover The Nook’s past to help secure its future.
