Built in 1886 by the LSWR, these vans were built with side doors so as to allow them to carry parcels and freight as well as the guard, they became known as the 'Road Vans.' This pack features 8 versions of these vans from the LSWR days through to BR days.
History:
Built in 1886 by the LSWR, these vans were built with side doors so as to allow them to carry parcels and freight as well as the guard, they became known as the 'Road Vans.' In the grouping act a vast majority of these fans fell into the Southern Railway and given the Diagram 1541. A small number of these vans also fell into the Great Western Railway being used on western freight trains. With the grouping act of 1948 all these Vans fell into BR use with some being given Vacuum equipment, with the wagons later falling into more engineering and departmental use.
A few of these Vans have been saved in preservation with examples being found on the Swanage and Bluebell line.

This pack includes 8 Liveries From The London South Western Railway, Southern Railways days, Great Western Railway and British Railways. Each wagon has 3 levels of weathering from clear to heavily weathered, wagons include animated coupling, Interiors and working tail lamps.
