About this game

What this game is, in the developer's words

In a world where intellect is survival, humanity's brains are decaying. As an engineer fixing the obsolete Campfire System, you discover the encrypted memories of teenagers hidden in broken data. Solve diverse logic puzzles to decrypt their past and uncover the truth.

"System self-check complete. Welcome back to 'Campfire'—the only warmth left in a freezing sea of data."

---

This is a world where logic reigns supreme and emotions have run cold. Scientists claim our brains are suffering from irreversible "inertial degeneration." To keep civilization going, the government pushes puzzle-solving on everyone: your social status, healthcare, and even your right to an apartment are entirely tied to your "Spark Level." Brainpower has become the only measure of a human's worth.

And you? You're just a cog in this massive, ruthless machine. As a recently laid-off senior programmer from Titan Crowdsourcing, you've been handed a baffling gig: fix the old, bug-ridden, and long-forgotten "Campfire System."

---

As the system boots back up, the grayed-out avatars in your contact list—silent for years—suddenly light up.

You chat about your busy lives, trying to gloss over the awkward silence. The kids who once stargazed together are now just tired adults, heads down, rushing through the daily grind.

---

When you hit 'Enter' on the repair command, the screen doesn't just spit out a cold "Success." Instead, it bleeds into vivid, first-person memories.

You'll step into these wonderful moments in all sorts of ways.

---

- Craving a coffee from Odd Corp? You'll need to beat the logic puzzle on the ordering screen first.

- Need to move a herd of cows blocking the road? Better arrange their spots into the right pattern.

- When things like playing soccer, running, or painting are dismissed as "low-intellect" wastes of time, do you still dare to admit you just want to break a sweat and feel alive?

---

The teenagers in these memories lived under very different roofs. There were no literal monsters here, just the suffocating silence of the dinner table, and the sharpest weapon of all: "I'm doing this for your own good."

Perhaps it's a quiet kind of pain you know all too well.

---

Inside the "Campfire System," your to-do list is way more fun than you'd expect. Fixing code is just the start. You'll also dive into all sorts of quirky daily routines within this tiny screen:

- Will you rack your brain over daily puzzles to grind your "Spark Level"?

- Or plant a seed and gamble on whether it sprouts a rare flower or just catnip?

- Maybe you'll catch up on the news, debate philosophy with a cat (?), or just call an old friend.

- Collect picture book pages, write in your diary, or chat with the local shopkeeper... In this day-night cycle, you'll need to manage your time and try your luck when the store is actually open.

---

You'll need to play detective, pulling the truth from clues scattered everywhere:

- A snippet of conversation;

- A diary entry;

- A news pop-up;

- An audio recording;

- A text memo;

- Or maybe something else entirely...

---

Here, the art style shifts right along with your journey.

Retro pixels, vibrant collages, abstract cartoons, black-and-white decorative art... These completely different styles piece together a landscape of memories you can almost touch.
