About this game
What this game is, in the developer's words
A fast-paced RTS, top-down shooter. Use your tank to clear scrap, earn Creds and build the Mycogrid machine while defending against Martian raiders. Use Creds to complete the mission but save enough for a ticket to Mars. Five difficulty levels to hone your skills. Variable Assignment editor for fun.
3096. The last year anyone lived on Earth. The Martians stripped the surface bare. Air, water, plants and animals, packed-up and shipped off to Mars.
The last structure left was the giant hexagonal entrance to the HHI preservation. Hector and his company took refuge underground. Earth, as a named place, was now contained entirely in the underground Preservation. The surface was renamed 3096, a sterile number befitting a dead rock.
But now it is getting even worse. The Martians are making war on the EL:ONE system.
"Elle", the polystellar metallian superform, built the EL:ONE stations in an attempt to save humanity. Now, many of those she once protected join the Martians and rise against her.
She collects debris from the war, gathering it from across the Sol system with her salvage bots. The material is taken back to 3096 for reprocessing. Elle doesn't want the Martians getting their hands on her parts, even after they are blown up.
Her barges dump scrap constantly, threatening to bury the HHI entrance building. Hector has designed tech that will speed the disintegration of the debris. Mycogrid is a hybrid ionizing semi-emergent fungellian. It packs a powerful charge that vaporizes the scrap. If enough Mycogrid is started in an area it will become self-sustaining.
To help program the autotanks that build the Mycogrid machine, a contest is being held. Successful mission data is added to the algorithm and the players energy Creds are used to bid for a seat on a rocket to Mars.
Good Luck!
