The P-40E was an American fighter aircraft from World War II, developed by the Curtiss-Wright Corporation. In total, almost 14,000 P-40 fighters of all modifications were built, which were in service with 26 air forces around the world (including 2,243 aircraft delivered to the USSR under the Lend-Lease program).
The P-40E Warhawk is an excellent boom-and-zoom style fighter-bomber. It develops a maximum speed of about 560 km/h at an altitude of 3,800 meters. It is equipped with six 12.7 mm Browning M2 machine guns. Suspended weapons are represented by 100 and 500 pound bombs, which are unlocked after completing in-game missions.
