About this game

What this game is, in the developer's words

After school, clubs clash for supremacy! Afterschool Brawl Club is an AutoBattle card game set in a vibrant academy city. Easy to play, hard to master. Each round choose your allies, decide which cards to keep or cut, and adapt to survive. Step into their stories and claim the top in your own way.

After school, card duels erupt across the academy city!

Afterschool Brawl Club is an auto-battler card game set in a subculture-inspired academy city.
Players take the role of a student commander in the after-school Brawl Club, forming agreements with distinctive clubs, recruiting their student cards, and building a team of their own.

Battles play out automatically.
But victory is never simple.
Each round, it is entirely up to the player to decide which students to recruit, which ones to keep, which ones to cut, and which support effects will reshape the direction of the team.

Easy to Pick Up, Deep in Strategy

Instead of demanding complex real-time controls, the game lets players focus purely on making strategic decisions.
Battles are resolved automatically based on those choices, meaning the real contest is not in direct control, but in how well you prepare before combat begins.

Recruiting students, building your deck, trimming cards, combining club synergies, and choosing support effects—
all of these elements come together to define the strategy of each run, and challenge you to design a team that truly feels like your own.

You can also pause during battle at any time to review the current situation, letting you play at your own pace without pressure.
Whether you want to enjoy a quick match in a short session or take your time to think through every decision in depth, the game is designed to support both styles of play.

Form Agreements with Clubs and Complete Your Deck

Starting with 6 basic student cards, you strengthen your team each round by recruiting randomly offered students from the 3 clubs you selected in advance.
Since the same options never appear every time, each choice matters: should you use a student immediately, save them for future plans, or cut students who no longer fit your current deck?

On certain rounds, you will also choose club support effects that influence the entire match.
These support effects are not just simple stat boosts—they are major decisions that can change how your team grows and how your strategy unfolds.
Depending on which clubs you align with and what direction you commit to, even the same starting student cards can lead to completely different outcomes.

From the Student Council, Nine Waves, Mirage, Mimir, HauteCuisine, Vargr, and Heritage, each club is more than just a label.
They each carry their own tactical identity, and the combinations you choose will dramatically change the flow of battle and the feel of your team.
Experimenting with new lineups, discovering new combinations, and finding your own way to play are at the very heart of the game.

Two Game Modes

PvP Mode

Test your strategy in asynchronous battles against decks built by other players.
There is no need to wait in queue, and every match creates a different kind of tension as your team composition collides with another player’s decisions and build.

Even within a short match, the differences in combinations, strategy, and decision-making become clear, allowing you to see how your own approach measures up against other players.

PvE Survival Mode

Face increasingly powerful enemies and test how far your deck can go.
This mode demands steadier decision-making, more refined team building, and sharp judgment under pressure, offering a different way to measure your skill from the main mode.
If you want to push your limits, Survival Mode offers the clearest challenge.
