About this game
What this game is, in the developer's words
Defend the gates of the underworld against the unleashed legions of Anubis. Wield fire staves, frost magic, and ancient blades while building deadly trap networks across cursed Egyptian temples. A weapon-driven tower defense action game.
The gods of death have woken. Anubis has unleashed his legions upon the living, and the temples of ancient Egypt stand as the last line of defense. Pick up your blade, charge your staff, and lay your traps — they will not pass.
Anubis: Wrath of the Jackal is a stylized third-person action tower defense where you defend cursed Egyptian temples against waves of gods, demons, and the undead. Wield a vast arsenal of magical weapons, cast devastating spells, and craft lethal trap networks to push back the wrath of the jackal god — alone, or with friends.
⚔️ A WEAPON FOR EVERY ENEMY
Switch between fire staves, frost wands, ancient blades, war hammers, divine shields, and arcane shotguns — each with its own signature ability. Sear skeletons with rolling waves of flame, freeze a demon mid-leap, or bash a lich into the trap you set behind it. Every weapon plays differently, every weapon turns the tide.
🪤 BUILD THE KILLING FLOOR
Floors, walls, ceilings — every surface is a weapon. Plant spike strips along corridors, mount flame jets on temple pillars, suspend crushing pendulums from above, and chain elemental traps into combos that vaporize entire waves. Smart placement matters more than firepower.
🔥 UNLEASH THE STORM
Beyond your weapons, channel raw magical fury. Summon walls of fire that scorch the ground for an entire wave, call down rains of flame from above, hurl lightning down crowded corridors, and split the earth with sword strikes that send shockwaves through enemy lines. Combine spells with weapons and traps for devastating synergies.
👁️ FACE THE LEGIONS OF ANUBIS
The undead march in many forms — skeleton warriors, hungering zombies, demon hounds, towering liches, jackal champions, and the sphinx-faced lieutenants of Anubis himself. Each enemy demands a different strategy. The deeper you go, the darker the threats become.
🤝 STAND TOGETHER
Defend the temples solo, or join forces with friends in online co-op. Coordinate trap placements, combine elemental spells for explosive synergies, and split the battlefield to cover every approach. The legions are stronger in numbers — and so are you.
📈 GROW IN POWER
Survive the temples, unlock new weapons and traps, and shape your hero through a deep talent tree. Specialize into fire, ice, melee, or the arcane — or build a hybrid that turns every wave into a personal storm of destruction. Each run leaves you stronger.
