What this game is, in the developer's words
ArchiHexago is a casual puzzle game which takes inspiration from match-3 genre and takes it one step further. Each tile type has unique pattern which you need to match in order to gain points. And each level has different tile sets and obstacles to give you a variety of challenges.
The difficult part is – the more moves you make the more difficult puzzle pieces you will draw. To make it more interesting you will also be able to play different levels and use special actions.
Levels
To provide you with a variety of challenges each level has different tile set and obstacles which in combination require you to come up with different strategies.
Tile types
There are 6 tile types and each tile requires different pattern to match.
Quests
During the game you will also be assigned quests which will require you to match special patterns. These quests are not obligatory, however they will provide you with Tokens which you can then spend on Special Actions.
Special Actions
Special Actions aid you in your regular gameplay. They are simple actions such as rerolling your current puzzle or removing tile of your choice from map. You don't necessarily need to use them but they can come in handy – especially when you run out of space on map.
