What this game is, in the developer's words

It all began when the Blind Sisters lit a catastrophic fire in the ancient stacks of the East Country, destroying the books of recorded history and spawning a bizarre fog that spread to every corner of the world, burying the truth of the past and present in unknowable shadows.

The story takes place in a fog-shrouded world where players collect items and defeat bosses to gain more information about the world, advance levels by placing blocks on the map, and encounter a variety of enemies and random events. The game mechanism is timeline turn-based, players and enemies move on the timeline, using cards to affect their position on the timeline, and powerful cards make players move more on the timeline.
