With the ship’s trusty AI, OMEGA – (but you can call me MEG if you’d like!) in control, there is no reason to worry, for I will take care of everything while you nap in your cosy cryo-chamber, waiting for the day your mission will truly begin.

Spaceships like ours have relied on AI for quite a long time at this point; after all: the margin for error is... minimal.

Your one task is, well, to make sure that you drop off our precious cargo, 1000 colonisers with dreams as big as yours and a hunger for a better, more fulfilling life. There’s no way that any of this could go wrong, right?

Now, theoretically speaking, of course, even if something were to happen, for example, if the ship were damaged by an asteroid, we would be able to take care of it easily. I would, of course, require your help, for I have no thumbs, but trust me… You’d be done with repairs in a few hours!

AMELIA
Amelia, your sweetheart and pilot. She’s worked in the field for quite a while – and trust me, there is no one more skilled at minor repairs than her! This spunky girl is the perfect partner for someone as laid-back as you –perhaps that is why the pair of you work so well together! Of course, she will need some time to adjust to being awake once the time comes… But she will be will be back to normal rather quickly.
