About this game

What this game is, in the developer's words

Your choices will determine your destiny. The deck-building RPG Beat in Zero is a game where you choose one of three characters and go on a quest to find the Card of Zero lying at the bottom of the floor. Randomly generated events and cards take you on a different adventure each time.

Welcome to Beat in Zero, a deck-building RPG where randomness and strategy intersect.
In Beat in Zero, you can always see your opponent's hand, but the path to victory is not so simple.
Each turn, you must roll the die of fate and make the best possible move at limited cost. Anticipate your opponent's next move and develop your own strategy.

Build your deck from the cards you have obtained and make the best choices.
However, one mistake could end it all.
With the game over, your adventure record will be lost and you will not be able to walk the same path again.
Make careful decisions and use many cards to reach the "Card of Zero".

Each time you clear the game, new cards are unlocked, further deepening the game. Even if you are defeated, your score will accumulate and you will eventually have a chance to unlock new cards.
The replayable nature of the game allows players to build different decks for the same characters, providing a completely new experience and playing strategy each time.

Btattle Features

Open hand strategy: Play with all cards in the enemy's hand visible. You can read your opponent's intentions and tendencies, and predict his next move.

Dice-based cost system: At the beginning of each turn, a die is rolled to determine the cost available for that turn. The balance between strategy and luck is the key to victory.

Deep strategy: Choose which cards to use, manage your hand, and maximize your effectiveness with limited resources. Which cards you use and when you use them will determine whether you win or lose.

Possibility of sequential actions: You can play multiple cards in a turn as long as the cost allows. How you use the cards in your hand depends on your strategy.

Advantage of Endgame: As the enemy's hand and cost decrease and his action patterns become easier to read, how you play your cards to your advantage will determine whether you win or lose the game.
How can you take advantageous actions at the end of the phase, when the enemy's actions are more likely to be narrowed down or confirmed?
Also, the key to winning the battle is "which cards to leave" toward the end of the phase.

Cost Carry Over: Unused costs can be carried over to the next turn with a maximum value of 9. The choice is left to the player whether to plan a powerful attack all at once or to act immediately.

Long-term battle strategy: Perhaps winning a few battles may not require much thought.
But to survive in this dungeon for a long time, a long-term strategy is essential.
Making careful decisions on each move and accumulating as many actions as possible that give you an advantage over your enemies will make a big difference by the end of the game.

The key to victory is runes!

Runes are special effects that can be learned by spending points obtained in battles.
The key to victory is to acquire the appropriate runes that make the most of the cards acquired during the search.
Depending on the cards obtained, there may be cases where the same character can be used in completely different color configurations.

Numerous random events
.
The events that await you in the dungeon are randomly generated, but some have a certain law of appearance.
You may find more effective ways to explore as you repeat your search.
