About this game
What this game is, in the developer's words
Bloodflow is a fast-paced third-person brawler, featuring stylish combat and vibrant colours. Put your timing, target prioritisation and positioning skills to the test and lock into the flow state to achieve mastery.
Flow is a state of hyper competence and pure focus. In Bloodflow, flow is built by consistently inputting attacks within a tight window in order to continually chain together perfect attacks. Through practice, you will develop an intuition as to when to press in order to perform a perfect attack; this intuition will be integral to the success of your journey through Bloodflow.
Bloodflow Features:
There are only two buttons: attack and counter. This simplicity disguises the true depth to mastery. The tight timing required to perform perfect attacks provides a constant challenge that is satisfying to excel in. You will face an abundance of enemies, and they're all out to get you; your defence is as important as your offence. Advantageous positioning through movement and target prioritisation, keeping track of the number and states of your enemies, and appropriate usage of your counter are all important skills for controlling the crowd. And add to that the fact that every level has its own set of challenges required to achieve victory. What winning means for one level may not be the same for the other, and this will have to inform your strategy.
Throughout your journey you will be introduced to multiple different enemy types, each representing certain advantages - or possibly disadvantages - for you to keep in mind. With every new enemy comes a new layer of depth, and knowing which enemy your should prioritise requires an understanding of the level conditions, the health of each enemy, your current state, and a myriad of other potential factors.
Bloodflow Features:
- Fast and satisfying combat with a plethora of beautiful attack animations
- Multiple enemy types and victory conditions to keep you considering your strategy
- 5 stages, each featuring unique visuals and music
- 70+ levels, every one offering its own challenge
- Survivor mode, allowing you to put your skills to the test by beating a sequence of levels without dying once
- Custom mode, offering the ability to craft your own original blend of level conditions
