Send your crew on missions through the city to explore the digital post-apocalypse. Take care of your teams and prepare them well. After all, the city is a dangerous place and a wrong turn can leave you knocked out on the pavement. The city doesn’t mind leaving you with nothing but empty pockets.

Build your capital. Stake your claim. Expand your crew. New Sterling doesn't forgive the unprepared.

Establish your foothold in the city

Play as one of the factions attempting to assert control within the city. Begin with simple jobs to help the citizens of New Sterling’s eight districts for cash and reputation. Then offer to protect local businesses from vandals and other factions. Then leverage your power to buy and sell valuable goods, or use them to complete unique storylines that will change the city forever.

Make allies and enemies as you grow your influence in the city. Move against other factions by attacking their crews and robbing their hideouts.

Who you choose to work with affects New Sterling’s future. The people will remember your actions. Be kind and gain warmth with them. Be successful and gain respect. You’ll have to make tough calls. After all, sometimes, to be feared is to be respected.

Prepare your crew

Find new recruits, create teams, and send them out to complete jobs. Check their unique skills and abilities to send the right people to the right job. Buy, find, or steal weapons to give them the upper hand in a fight, or scare off the enemy before the fight ever starts.

Control the economy of the city

Local businesses are good for protection money, but establishing relationships with the producers of the city’s important goods opens up more lucrative trades. Buy medicine, booze, electronics, and more to fulfill the city’s needs. Or make tense exchanges with other factions, with one hand on your weapon in case of a sudden betrayal.

The city still has it’s pulse

Citizens, factions, goods producers, and more are fully simulated with their own daily routines and intentions. Set lookouts to watch the city in motion. Learn the routines of citizens to steal a big score. Watch out for your enemies to track their movements and ambush them before they move in your turf.
