Core of Havoc is a single-player, real-time 2D space combat experience that combines tight ship controls with deep, affix-driven itemization. Set in a sleek, stylized sci-fi universe, you pilot a modular ship through procedurally generated missions where every decision—from the parts you equip to the way you maneuver—defines your path to survival.

KEY FEATURES

• Expressive Ship Customization: Your ship is your class. Build your loadout using a modular system of chassis, engines, stabilizers, and weapons. With an affix system that encourages creative synergies, no two ships feel or perform the same.

• Strategic Corebound Mechanics: Manage your ship’s Core Power, a shared resource used for both weapons and powerful Corebound affixes. These active power tools must be chosen and enabled in the hangar, requiring you to balance your energy budget against your build strategy.

• Visually Readable Chaos: Forget raw numbers. Combat states, affix effects, and ship statuses are communicated through a consistent, affix-driven visual language. From blue shield flickers to fiery overcharged trails, you’ll learn to react instinctively to the battlefield’s visual cues.

• Moment-to-Moment Mastery: Success isn't just about high DPS; it's about mastering the rhythm of your build. Execute satisfying combos by boosting through enemies, dropping burn affixes, and firing finishing cannons in fluid, momentum-based combat.

THE GAME LOOP

• Hangar Phase: Modify your ship configuration, swap collected parts, and use resources to upgrade or reroll affixes.
