As the frontline crawls through ruins and smoke, you command infantry, armor, and air support to shape the chaos. Capture points, break lines, encircle and counter-encircle. With no pay-to-win, only clear strategy and teamwork earns victory.
About This Demo Version
Welcome to the second open beta test of War Alert 【Codename: Torch】. The core purpose of this Demo is to verify the game’s core combat mechanics, combat visual effects, and underlying synchronization performance in online multiplayer. No monetization or seasonal systems have been implemented in this test build. Test Nature: Time-limited closed beta with wipe after test.
Test Focus: Combat control feel, unit counter system, battlefield interaction and numerical balance.
Special Notes for This Test
To ensure you get the optimal testing experience and a clear view of our development progress, we have prepared the following special notes for this Demo:
1. Development Progress Brief
Core Combat (Polishing in Progress): Unreal Engine 5-based physical collision and unit pathfinding logic are basically finalized. Terrain destruction and bunker/building destruction effects are available on partial maps for player feedback collection. Commander Mode (Under Design): To achieve our expected tactical depth and system stability, the permanent core system Commander Mode is currently under intensive refinement and will be unveiled to players in future tests.
Controller Support (Polishing in Progress): Exclusive RTS combat control adaptation has been added to this test. However, this feature is still in the early development stage with many adaptation issues to be optimized. We welcome all players to share your feedback and suggestions.
2. Data Wipe
All account progress and battle records created during this demo period will be reset once the test concludes.
3. Performance & Hardware Expectations
The game is currently under active development. The present build does not reflect the final quality of graphics, performance, or optimization. Powered by Unreal Engine 5, frame rate fluctuations may occur in multiplayer mode on some older graphics cards.
4. Balance Disclaimer
The extremely short cooldowns in Ultimate Fire Mode may lead to overpowered niche builds and tactical combinations. Numerical balance is not yet finalized. Feel free to share your thoughts and feedback in our official community after your playthrough!
