About this game

What this game is, in the developer's words

Desktop Reptiles is a cozy desktop idle reptile sim. Care for a leopard gecko, decorate and upgrade its enclosure, unlock gear and terrarium layouts, and let a quiet reptile habitat bring relaxing moments to your busy workday.

A Tiny Desk Companion

Let a leopard gecko quietly move onto your desktop. It will wander, pause, and rest in the corner of your screen like a tiny living presence that never gets in your way. When you want to check in, step into its vivarium, refill its water, feed it, and tidy up its little world.

Build Its Vivarium by Hand

From hides, water bowls, and basking spots to lighting, create a comfortable habitat for your gecko. Different objects change both the function and atmosphere of the vivarium, shaping the everyday moments you will notice next.

Observe Its Daily Habits

Your gecko will not always move on your schedule. It may rest, roam, find a place to hide, approach water, or respond when the timing is right. Watch for a few seconds, record what you see, and slowly learn the rhythm of its life.

A Real Little Environment on Your Desktop

Heat lamps, water bowls, hides, and substrate all affect the temperature inside the vivarium. Open the temperature view to see how the basking spot, cool zone, hides, and water area change across the enclosure.

Unlock Different Morphs

As your observation level increases, new morph skins will gradually become available. From classic natural looks to brighter selectively bred varieties, give your gecko a new appearance and see which one feels most at home on your desktop.
