Desolate Dusk

Desolate Dusk is a solo-developed VR horror game where players uncover the memories of a victim trapped within the Blondsdale quarantine zone: a small city, cut off from the rest of the world, with government officials offering no real reason as to why.

Though with each memory uncovered, realities begin to bleed together.

As an aspiring journalist investigating the unethical quarantine of Blondsdale, you have been researching thoroughly in order to expose the truth, only to hit the same wall countless journalists worldwide have faced. Until one day you receive a letter at your door, within it a classified tape holding a potential clue to your investigation. With nowhere else to turn, you insert the tape hoping to find answers, unable to fathom the horrors you are about to unleash.

GAMEPLAY IN VR:

Desolate Dusk mixes elements from stationary and adventure survival horror genres. Players will explore the city of Blondsdale, Illinois, searching for parts to provide power to the only safe haven remaining in the city while protecting themselves from the many monsters roaming around, starved and looking for their next meal.

Each level in Desolate Dusk features a unique setting where players are equipped with a variety of tools in their environment that they must utilize to hold off the mutated amalgamations. Levels will typically consist of the player being trapped in a certain section of the environment, where they must use everything they can in their environment to survive and progress.

Solve puzzles, hold doors shut, flip levers to reveal what lies in the dark, and hide when you must. Do not let them find you.
