About this game

What this game is, in the developer's words

Speak the demon’s true name to win. Let your sins be known, and you’ll die. Master the synergy of countless sacred verses and wait for fate to turn in your favor. A fast-paced, compact game of judgment and luck—where every choice is a gamble.

Stand against demons as an exorcist. The acclaimed blend of chance and strategy returns.

The Vatican has summoned a group of exorcists for a special mission.
Their task: to rescue children trapped within a mysterious tower known as VTN Babel.

But the children have already been possessed. The demons are holding them hostage and demanding the Vatican hand over the sacred relic Oldest Tongue in exchange.

A roguelite where you collect sacred verses and deduce the demons’ identities through a card game-like system to perform exorcisms.

  • High randomness paired with equally high strategic depth. Simple, yet uniquely satisfying gameplay.

  • A touch of horror with a subtle, creeping sense of unease.

Simple. Short sessions. But now with greatly expanded volume.

Five powerful demons await behind the children’s possession.
And at the top sits “The Piper”—a being not merely possessing a child, but a demon itself in the form of a human child.
Unless “The Piper” is exorcised, VTN Babel cannot be freed.

  • Fast-paced design: each session lasts about 15 to 30 minutes.

  • Progress is saved, encouraging deep exploration of VTN Babel over time.

  • The simplicity of light tactical play remains, while long-term progression demands new ideas and strategies.

A deeper lore, and a new character: Scarecross.

Faced with an overwhelming threat, the Vatican enacts a classified operation.
Every exorcist is now accompanied by a girl known as a Scarecross.
Her spine has been replaced with a cruciform structure made of reinforced titanium, and her left arm is a prosthetic engraved with the entire Bible in microscopic script.
These bodies—transformed into religious symbols—were long considered inhumane and avoided.
Their large-scale deployment speaks to the extreme nature of this mission.

  • The “Verse Engraving” mechanic from the previous game is moderately expanded through Scarecross.

  • As you continue playing, your interactions with Scarecross deepen—and with them, the full truth behind the incident gradually comes to light.
