About this game

What this game is, in the developer's words

Create your character and experience a fun story in which you will meet friends, enemies and partners as you try to carry out a vital project with your friends: to create an anime before you finish your studies.

The game is still in production. Some features are subject to change during the remaining development period.

About this game

From the Streets to the Script - A Carabanchel Story is a fun narrative experience set in modern day Madrid. Be thrilled by the characters and situations you will meet throughout this animated Visual Novel where you will not stop making decisions. Your actions will not only affect your friendships and romances, but also your big project and the multiple endings of the plot.

Storyline

After creating your character, you will be forced to move into a tiny shared flat in Madrid. There you will have to study in an eccentric vocational training centre where you will meet all kinds of classmates with whom you will share a passion: Japanese animation. Together you will make a crazy decision, you will create an anime before finishing your student years and going out into the working world. The project will gain importance and you will be in charge of making the decisions that, after several difficulties and triumphs, will lead to hatreds, friendships and more than one passionate romance.

Diverse relationships

You don't have to fall in love with anyone or establish any kind of romantic or sex-affective relationship in the video game; but depending on your decisions you can choose to have a relationship among 8 characters, but you can also seek to have a polyamorous relationship. The romances will be independent of the sex/gender you choose for your character; this aspect is intended to enjoy relationships across the LGBTIAQ+ spectrum.

Consent

.In this video game, consent is addressed and encouraged in all aspects of relationships between characters. In romantic relationships there is no obligation to have sex and refusing sex has no negative repercussions.

Characters

There is a great diversity of charismatic characters in the game. Throughout the story you will be able to choose who you spend time with so that you can get to know and bond with all the characters. However, you will have to choose who you spend the most time with and if you want to have a romantic relationship you will have to have your priorities straight.

Endings

.There are no bad decisions or bad endings in this game, have fun and make the decisions you want to make and find out what the repercussions of your actions are. There are not yet a definite number of endings, but depending on the decisions you make, we can divide them into three categories:

-The kind of relationship you will end up having with each character.
-What the project you end up creating will be like and whether it will succeed according to the goals you have set for yourselves.
-The end of your own story and your future.

Accessibility

The game can be played with just one click, quick time event and no skill is required to finish the game.
Several official translations are being considered in addition to English and Spanish, but the necessary files for fan translations will be made available in order to increase the accessibility of the game as much as possible.
We are working on a font that makes the game easier to read for people with dyslexia.
You can consult the character files at any time and their names appear every time they speak.
The game does not have voice acting, but work is being done to make the game fully accessible to visually impaired or blind people through text narration and audio descriptions. Currently available in English only.
