A dark power stirs beneath the ground, threatening to engulf the world in chaos. In Haamupeli: Wrath of the Iku-Turso, a fantasy action-adventure game, you’ll embark on a quest to vanquish an ancient evil and forge your own legend.

Explore mysterious lands, gather powerful loot, and recruit allies to stand by your side. Every choice shapes your journey — from the weapons you wield to the bonds you form and the battles you survive.

Haamupeli is an action-adventure RPG inspired by legendary titles such as Baldur’s Gate Dark Alliance, Diablo and Torchlight mixed with oldschool classics like Rogue and Ultima series.

Key Features:

• Living World - world log will keep player up to date of events that happen in the world even when player is not nearby

• Difficulty - besides few things world around you or quests do not get balanced around player level

• Replayability - play either in pre-genearted world or procedurally generated one with new characters, dungeons, and quests

• Emerging quests - quests will be related to world events. Eg. if dangerous creatures move into a dungeon it is possible that nearby lord will give out task to eliminate the threat, etc

• Seamless world - no loading screens during gameplay, everything happens at seamless evolving area

• Crafting - create spells, potions or enchant armor and weapons at crafting forges

• Vunderable NPCs - everyone in this game is vunderable. Even questgivers and plot critical creatures may be attacked and can get killed

• Deadly Combat - even high level characters can get seriously injured by some lucky hits, no respawns at hardcore mode

• Hall of Fame - most sucessful adventurers will be stored into a hall of fame on death or game completion

• Develop Your Character - develop your character, discover hidden secrets, and interact with a living world full of lore and danger.

• Local Co-Op Action - team up with a friend in 2-player split-screen co-op with full gamepad support (two controllers needed for local co-op play).

• Local PvP - player 2 plays as evil faction - last player to survive wins the match (two controllers needed for local PvP play).

• Epic Loot & Progression - craft and hunt for rare items and relics and collect experience to enhance your abilities

• Emergent Gameplay: NPC characters may act and travel on their own can provide emergent gameplay possibilities.

Recruit allies, find loot, develop your character and interact with the game world and its inhabitants to archieve your goals and attempt to vanquish a looming threat in a sandbox environment. Game features a fully unique world, characters and dungeons for each game session and 2 player local co-op gameplay with split screen, gamepads and Steam Remote Play Together supported.
